Into the Wild: Discover Argentine Patagonia and the Wonders of the Valdés Peninsula
Small Group Expeditions | Southern Right Whales Migration, October–November 2025 + Special Orca Edition Feb–Mar 2026
If you're looking to disconnect from the ordinary and step into one of the wildest, most awe-inspiring corners of the Earth, look no further than Argentine Patagonia—and more specifically, the Valdés Peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that remains one of the planet’s best-kept secrets.
At the edge of the world, where the winds sculpt the land and the sea brims with life, we offer crafted journeys for small groups (max 3 people) designed to immerse you in the very best of this extraordinary region, which is well preserved and protected.
A Wildlife Sanctuary Like No Other
Every spring (October and November), the Valdés Peninsula becomes a natural theatre of life and movement, attracting wildlife lovers, photographers, and seekers of silence alike.
Here, you can:
Witness hundreds of Southern Right whales, resting in the calm, protected bays as they raise their calves.
Visit the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in the world, where over a million birds gather and nest.
Come eye-to-eye with Southern Elephant Seals, resting in tight clusters on remote, windswept beaches.
Snorkel or scuba dive with Patagonian sea lions, who are curious, playful, and unforgettable underwater companions.
Discover the rich land-based fauna of the Patagonian steppe: guanacos, armadillos, Patagonian maras, and more.
Special Summer Edition: The Orcas of Patagonia (Mid-February to Mid-March 2026)
In addition to our spring departures, we are excited to offer a special summer edition focused on one of the most dramatic and rare wildlife spectacles in the world: orcas beaching themselves to hunt sea lion pups along the wild shores of the Valdés Peninsula.
During this expedition, we’ll spend time on the cliffs overlooking the sea, observing the coastline, waiting for orcas to appear white, and watching any other wildlife that might pass by. It’s a patient, deeply rewarding experience—one of connection, anticipation, and raw nature at its most powerful. A true bucket-list moment for wildlife photographers and nature lovers alike.
Breathtaking Landscapes & Cliffside Moments
Patagonia is as much about its solitude and vastness as it is about its wildlife. You’ll stand atop towering cliffs and look out across endless, untamed horizons, where the sea sparkles under skies that seem to stretch forever. You’ll walk along lonely beaches where the only sounds are waves, wind, and the calls of distant birds.
A Taste of True Patagonia
Beyond its wildlife and landscapes, this is also a place of deep-rooted traditions and authentic encounters. You’ll get a chance to visit local estancias (Patagonian ranches), enjoy regional meals, share “mate” (the beloved South American herbal drink) with locals and hear the stories of a land where gauchos still ride and silence still reigns. You can visit a museum that contains the fossils of many dinosaurs found in this special region, watch the small island that supposedly inspired Saint-Exupery to write the famous book “The Little Prince”, and enjoy tea and typical cakes in a Welsh tea house (and if you join our trip, you will understand why this is a common thing to do in this area, and how these cultures intertwine till this day!)

Our small group size and local knowledge allow us to reach places that mass tourism can’t—ensuring a truly immersive and intimate experience.
