Art & Environmental Awareness Across Countries: a journey unfolding

The past months have carried us across oceans, islands and communities.
Wherever we go, one thing remains constant: we collaborate with people whose values echo ours — creativity, environmental awareness, and the deep belief that art can spark connection and conversation.

This is what Carpe Diem Holistic embodies.
This is our journey — and like Kavafis wrote in our beloved poem Ithaca, it’s never just about reaching a destination: it’s about the encounters, the art made along the way, the experiences that shape the path:

“As you set out for Ithaca

hope your road is a long one,

full of adventure, full of discovery.

[…]

Keep Ithaca always in your mind.

Arriving there is what you’re destined for.

But don’t hurry the journey at all.”

So here’s where our journey has led us to for the past few months…

Galápagos Islands: “Amanai, Espíritu Costero”

What began as a spontaneous meeting of aligned minds — sharing time, curiosity, and creative energy — naturally unfolded into a collaboration (and a friendship!): together with Natalia and Juliana, we blended our skills to create a poetic piece that celebrates the quiet power of nature, its spirituality, and the fragile balance of these enchanted islands where wildlife and ecosystems are carefully protected.

The film was screened at the Galápagos Cine Festival 2025 — a beautiful reminder of what happens when people meet, connect, and create with intention. And this is just the beginning of the project…

Italy: “Terra. Atto I”

Meanwhile, across the world, inside the ancient stone corridors of Rocca Paolina in Perugia, our work became part of Terra. Atto I, a collective exhibition focused on environmental awareness.
Hosted in one of Italy’s most symbolic historical spaces, the show gathered artists, sculptures, installations, and images reflecting on our relationship with the planet.

A bridge between continents — and a reminder that environmental consciousness unites us globally.

Further South in the Americas, we joined the National Diving Festival, collaborating with Carolina from Scuba Duba and with many other ocean lovers and business owners.
We documented the event, displayed our underwater short films at the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco, and shared conversations about conservation, art, and the future of responsible diving tourism.

Patagonia: Light Projections & Original Music

In the quiet of Patagonian nights, we have been co-creating with Roman, Joel and Facundo to bring light to breath-taking outdoor projections that merge landscapes, textures, dreamy music and poetic imagery.
These ephemeral installations explore how light transforms space — and how art and music can inhabit nature without taking from it.

They’re night performances; sensorial invitations to embody important values, embellish them with creativity, and join meaningful causes while getting to know and explore the local landscapes and history with fresh eyes and senses.

Stay tuned for the projects’ release and meanwhile, check out these great artists’ styles here:

Puerto Madryn: “La Trama (es en enlace)”

We were also part of a special gathering at Casa Nube, a cozy cultural center in Puerto Madryn, where we hosted an intimate experience that blended art, body awareness, and the ocean. Together with our friend Guido, we guided a meditation and a sensorial immersion into the world of freediving and the underwater realm, including a gentle breath-holding practice.

The experience was accompanied by underwater videos we created in this area, conceived as a reflection on interconnection - between humans, water, breath, and nature - and in support of Trama, a Patagonia-based brand whose clothing is inspired by local wildlife and by ways of inhabiting the world with greater awareness.

Punta Loma: Patagonian Sea Lions water interactions

We are also working alongside Lobo Larsen, a historic dive operator from Puerto Madryn and the first to introduce people to diving, snorkelling and freediving with the local sea lion colony. Known for consistently upholding high ethical standards in wildlife interactions and customer care, they continue to set an example in the region.

Together, we are helping bring a new perspective on freediving to Chubut - one that is soft, gentle, and playful, inspired by the curious and friendly nature of the local sea lions themselves. By promoting freediving and ethical, respectful encounters, we believe these practices can create positive ripples that extend far beyond the sea, benefiting individuals, communities, and the way we relate to the natural world as a whole.

Rada Tilly & Comodoro Rivadavia: “Sei, La Ballena Desconocida”

We had the privilege of accompanying the protagonists, directors, videographers, conservationists, and the entire team behind the documentary Sei, La Ballena Desconocida during its premieres in Rada Tilly and Comodoro Rivadavia. Sharing these moments with good friends who were part of it all allowed us to connect deeply with the places and the people who made this film possible - those who work every day to give voice to the ocean and protect its giants.

These encounters were more than screenings: they were living examples of conservation in action, collective awareness, and the opening of a new chapter for responsible ecotourism in Chubut, rooted in respect, knowledge, and care for marine life.

We will certainly visit again these beautiful places and people, supporting their new-born ecotourism.

From Chubut to other regions and countries: “Ok Buceo”

We are also collaborating with Julia from Ok Buceo, supporting her interest in marine archaeology and underwater meditation. With her genuine passion for the sea and a strong foundation in education and diving, the exchange of experiences and ideas feels natural and inspiring.

Together, we are developing an event designed to bring people closer to the ocean through mindful encounters with water and meditation - another invitation to reconnect, listen, and learn from the sea.

We’re grateful to walk alongside like-minded people who share a deep respect for marine environments.

Why We Do This

Because collaboration feeds creation.
Because art has no borders.
Because the planet needs more storytellers who listen.

Carpe Diem Holistic exists precisely for this: to merge travel, photography, freediving, movement, and artistic exploration into one ongoing journey.
A journey where every project, every encounter, every coastline becomes part of the same evolving story.

We are not in a hurry. We don’t overplan.
We are simply present — everywhere, at once.

Follow the Journey
